Jazz Gig
Last night I played a jazz gig with the Weber State University Faculty/Alumni Band. They asked me to play the lead alto sax part in the big band they put together. Dr. Keipp brought in two guest artists: Bobby Shew on trumpet, and Matt Harris on piano. Matt had also written/arranged much of the music for the band. It was very impressive to listen to them. I had a lot of fun playing. Thanks to Chay and April, Tara was able to come listen while they watched Gage. I was pleasantly shocked to see her there. Thanks Dr. Keipp for asking me to play. I had a great time. You can check out Matt Harris at http://www.csun.edu/~hfmus011/ . You can check out Bobby Shew at http://www.bobbyshew.com/ .

Oh, I love jazz music. I would have come if I lived down there. Sounds like fun.
I love your book of hymn arrangements! I played a lot of them today. So beautiful. You are very talented Niels.
You are the Sax Man!
